On Friday night, the Boise State Broncos will host the Idaho Vandals in yet another showcase game for the Broncos.
All year long, everyone in the polls and a lot of college football betting fans want to doubt them, but with a national television audience watching, they’ll have a chance to show the crowds what they are deserving of playing in the BCS Championship Game.
It’s a battle of the Gem State but unfortunately, there is only one diamond in this matchup.
The Broncos are one of the best teams in the nation while the Vandals are not even one of the best teams in the WAC Conference.
How bad are the Vandals? They are a playing at home and are a 35-point underdog.
Well, we’ll give Boise State some credit. They are one of the best teams in the country and even when they weren’t in the top-five, they were still throttling teams in the WAC.
Idaho has a good quarterback in Nathan Enderle but they don’t have much else.
They were throttled by Nevada last week 63-17 on their home turf.
At the same time, Boise State was dismantling Hawaii 42-10. Hawaii topped Idaho 45-10 earlier this year.
This is a complete mismatch and the sole question is whether the Broncos will cover. Considering they need the style points and considering this game will be broadcast on ESPN2, expect them to put on a show.
